ATLANTIC COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — 31-year-old, Reachthon “Tonny” Khiev, Reachsieh Khiev, 27, both of Manchester, New Hampshire, and Keotepie Khiev, 14, of Atlantic City, New Jersey, have been identified as the victims in a triple-fatal vehicle crash Sunday night in Atlantic County.
The trio were killed while traveling in a vehicle on the eastbound Atlantic City Expressway in New Jersey Sunday night.
According to reports, the Khievs were traveling inside a Honda, when the vehicle came into contact with the Great Egg Harbor toll plaza Sunday night. The Honda then burst into flames around 9 p.m. Sunday.
Three people inside the Honda were pronounced dead of blunt force and thermal injuries at the scene.
Another passenger in the Honda, a 12-year-old girl, was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.
A worker in the toll plaza sustained moderate non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
