OXFORD, MI. (THECOUNT) — In echoes of Brian Landry, James and Jennifer Crumbley, the parents of Ethan Crumbley, the accused Oxford High School shooter, have gone missing, according to officials Friday.
A Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert has been issued for the parents just hours after they were charged with involuntary manslaughter in connection to the Oxford High School shootings.
According to Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard, on Thursday night, they were in the early stages of the investigation and there was no certainty that they would face charges so the Crumbleys were not under surveillance. Bouchard said when it looked like charges would be issued, investigators began the surveillance process, reports Fox2Detroit.
The Crumbleys were supposed to turn themselves in with their attorney on Friday but they stopped communicating and cooperating with their attorney and are now on the run.
The FBI and US Marshals are assisting with the search.
A description of the vehicle or last possible known location was known released. Anyone who sees the Crumbleys, pictured below, is urged to call police.
The Crumbleys were charged Friday with the four counts of involuntary manslaughter.
