LAFAYETTE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — James Wilfred Romero, of Scott, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a Sunday night fatal motorcycle crash in Lafayette Parish.
Romero, 53, was killed in a two-vehicle motorcycle crash near Scott Sunday night.
According to reports, Romero was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Interstate 10, between Scott and Duson, when the bike came into contact with a GMC Terrain.
Romero was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
