NASSAU COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Amanda Arguinzoni and Kurtis Caesar, both of West Hempstead, New York, have been identified as the victims in a Thursday double-fatal vehicle crash in Nassau County.
Arguinzoni, 17, and 19-year-old Caesar, were both killed while traveling as passengers in a vehicle crash involving a commercial truck early Thursday near West Hempstead.
According to reports, a BMW X3 was traveling on Westminster Road near Oak Street in West Hempstead, when the vehicle came into contact with a parked commercial truck around 1 a.m. Thursday.
Caesar and Arguinzoni, who were both ejected from the BMW during the crash, were pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The 18-year-old female driver, who was not identified, was seriously injured in the crash and transported to an area hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
