GUILFORD COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Marquell Deshawn Jordan, of, Reidsville, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday fatal vehicle crash in Guilford County.

Jordan, 30, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a dump truck near Greensboro early Saturday morning.

According to reports, Jordan was operating a Honda Accord on US-29 in Greensboro, when the vehicle came into rear-end contact with a dump truck around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

The driver of the Mack dump truck, a 23-year-old Rural Hall man, was uninjured in the collision.

Jordan was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
