OCEAN COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Lawrence Foca, of Manchester, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal motorcycle crash in Ocean County.
Larry Foca, 73, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash in Manchester Township Thursday night.
According to reports, Foca was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Route 70 near Pleasant Valley Road in Manchester, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:00 p.m. Thursday. The bike then made contact with a street sign. Foca was then thrown from the bike which kept traveling before colliding with a tree.
Foca was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
