SHAWNEE COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Richmond McDaniels Jr., of Topeka, Kansas, has been identified as the body found Saturday morning at a Shawnee County park.
McDaniels, 38, was found deceased at Gage Park in Topeka Saturday morning.
According to reports, McDaniels was discovered unresponsive around 5 a.m. Saturday at the park located at 700 S.W. Zoo Parkway in Topeka.
According to Topeka Police Lt. Aaron Jones, Daniels’ family has been notified of the death.
Jones said there are no further details to disclose at the time.
A cause of death was not provided.
