HANCOCK COUNTY, ME. (THECOUNT) — Luke Gross, of Hancock, Maine, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday vehicle crash in Hancock County.
Gross, 44, was killed after being stuck by a vehicle in Trenton early Thursday morning.
According to reports, Gross, an on-duty Hancock County deputy, was responding to a call of a vehicle off the road on Route 3 in Trenton, when he was struck by another vehicle around 4 a.m. Thursday.
Gross was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
