NEW YORK CITY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Erik Cowie, one the zookeepers featured on the hit docuseries, “Tiger King,” has been found dead in New York City. He was 53.
Cowie’s body was discovered Friday in New York City, according to TMZ.
Cowie, who was from Oklahoma, was found by a friend face down in the bedroom of a Big Apple residence.
TMZ says, there was nothing suspicious about Cowie’s death at this point, and no drugs were found on the scene, though a toxicology test will likely still be performed.
