DURHAM COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Tara Langley, of Semora, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash in Durham County.
Langley, 49, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor in Durham Friday evening.
According to reports, Langley was operating a Geo Prizm on Interstate 40 near Durham-Chapel Hill Boulevard in Durham, when the vehicle made contact with a stopped 18-wheeler around 4 p.m. Friday.
Langley was pronounced dead at the scene at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The big-rig driver was not hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
