MOREHOUSE PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Wesley Clay of Bastrop, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal single-vehicle crash in Morehouse Parish.
Clay, 17, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Bastrop On Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, Clay was operating a vehicle on Stevenson Road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway Sunday afternoon. The vehicle then entered a culvert and rolled over.
Clay, who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead on the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
An unrestrained passenger inside the vehicle was also ejected and airlifted to a hospital with serious unknown injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
