Dancing With The Stars Contestant Hayes Grier Arrested Friday In NC

MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Hayes Grier, the younger brother of Carolina Panthers quarterback Will Grier, was arrested in Mecklenburg County Friday afternoon on charges of assault serious bodily injury, common law robbery and felony conspiracy.

Grier, 21, had a warrant for his arrest out of Encino, which is in Los Angeles, California. Mecklenburg County sheriff’s deputies arrested him at about 2:30 Friday afternoon, according to MCSO arrest records.

Grier, an internet influencer, was released from Mecklenburg County’s jail at midnight Friday night. His bonds totaled $17,500.

Hayes first became known for his Vine videos and now has a YouTube channel with over 880,000 subscribers. He was also a contestant on the 21st season of ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ according to wsoctv.

Grier is the younger brother of the Carolina Panthers backup quarterback Will Grier. He is also the younger brother of former Vine star Nash Grier.
