TARRANT COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Ron Bultongez, of Waxahachie, Texas, has been identified as the suspect arrested on multiple counts of sex with a minor in Tarrant County.
Bultongez, 25, a former 2018 ‘American Idol’ contestant, was arrested in Grapevine, Texas, after turning himself in on July 15.
According to the Tarrant County D.A.’s charging documents, Bultongez is charged with four counts of sexual penetration of a minor under the age of 17 on four occasions.
In the docs, obtained by TMZ, prosecutors say the alleged incidents occurred between December 2020 and February 2021.
Bultongez was released from custody a couple days after his arrest after posting a $50,000 bond.
He is due back in court.
