VALLEY COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Janet Laura Rockwell, of McCall, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a fatal vehicle crash Tuesday in Valley County.
Rockwell, 73, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Smiths Ferry Tuesday night.
According to reports, Rockwell was operating a BMW on Idaho 55 in Smiths Ferry, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 10:40 p.m. Tuesday. The vehicle then traveled down an embankment.
Rockwell was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
