HAMILTON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — John Barton Purcell and Tonia Lee Purcell, both of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, have been identified as the victims in a double-fatal motorcycle crash Sunday night in Hamilton County.
John, 51 and 46-year-old Tonia, were both killed in a motorcycle-versus-SUV collision near Soddy Daily Sunday night.
According to reports, the couple were traveling on a Harley Davidson motorcycle on Highway 27 near Posey Hollow Road, when the bike came into contact with an SUV Sunday night.
John and Tonia were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
