CALCASIEU PARISH, LA. (THECOUNT) — Clyde Jeanisse of Lake Charles, Louisiana, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday vehicle crash in Calcasieu Parish.
Jeanisse, 58, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Calcasieu Parish Sunday night.
According to reports, Jeanisse was operating a vehicle on LA Highway 397 in Calcasieu Parish, when for unknown reasons, another vehicle crossed centerlines and collided head-on with Jeanisse around 6 p.m. Sunday.
Jeanisse was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
State Police say the other driver suffered minor injuries and was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
