IMPERIAL COUNTY, CA. (THECOUNT) — Dozens of earthquakes are currently striking in Imperial County, California, about 70 miles east of Palm Springs.
The swarming quakes, centered in the farming town of Calipatria, near the Mexican border, have been hitting since Saturday morning, the largest, so far, a magnitude 5.6, according to USGS.
