BOULDER, CO. (THECOUNT) — A mass shooting Monday at a King Soopers grocery store in Boulder, Colorado, has taken the lives of 10 people, including a police officer, according to authorities.

Police revealed that 10 fatalities occurred Monday, including Boulder Police Officer Eric Talley, 51, who had been with the department since 2010.

The shooting occurred at the store, located at 3600 Table Mesa Dr, Boulder, CO 80305

Police said the investigation was ongoing.

The suspected gunman is in custody, authorities said.

A motive in the shooting was not provided.
