Food Network Star Ree Drummond Husband & Nephew Involved in Serious OK Fire Truck Crash Wednesday

OSAGE COUNTY, OK. (THECOUNT) — Caleb Drummond has been identified as the victim seriously injured in a fire truck crash in Osage County on Wednesday.

Drummond, 21, was critically injured in a two-vehicle crash involving two fire trucks near the Pawhuska ranch of Food Network “Pioneer Woman” star Ree Drummond.

According to reports, 57-year-old Ladd Drummond, the husband of Ree Drummond and Caleb Drummond, her Nephew, were both operating fire trucks on N3660 Road while responding to a blaze spreading toward the Drummond family ranch near Hominy, when the vehicles collided head-on.

Caleb Drummond was elected and throw around 70-feet from the vehicle.

Caleb Drummond was transported to an area hospital in critical condition with head, arm and leg injuries as well as internal bleeding.

Ladd Drummond refused medical treatment at the scene, according to troopers.

“Due to high winds on a gravel road, visibility was decreased causing Vehicle-1 and Vehicle-2 to hit head-on,” troopers said in a statement.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
