UNION COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Malikah Taylor, of Newark, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Sunday shooting in Union County.
Taylor, 19, was fatally shot in Union Township early Sunday morning.
According to reports, police responded to a call of shots fired in the 2100 block of Melrose Parkway in Union City early Sunday. When they arrived, Taylor was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Taylor was transported to an area hospital where she was later pronounced dead of gunshot injuries around 8 a.m. Sunday.
