AUTAUGA COUNTY, AL. (THECOUNT) — Noah Womack, of Prattville, Alabama, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Thursday night in Autauga County.
Womack, 21, was killed after he was struck by a vehicle near Prattville Thursday night.
According to reports, Womack was on-foot on Interstate-65 in the area of Mile Marker 188 in Prattville, when he was struck by a passing vehicle around 7 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Womack was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
No vehicle description was provided by officials.
Anyone with possible information on the case should contact police at 911.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
