MULTNOMAH COUNTY, OR. (THECOUNT) — The roof of a Safeway store collapsed on Monday in Multnomah County, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office.
Troutdale emergency crews responded to the store in Troutdale, Oregon, just before noon Monday.
A photo from the shows a portion of the roof down inside the store located at, 2501 SW Cherry Park Rd in Troutdale.
Deputies said everyone made it out of the store safely and there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Investigators believe the roof likely buckled under the weight of snow and ice from the winter storm.
No further details were released early Monday afternoon.
