MEDINA COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Curtis Perkins, of Medina, Ohio, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday fatal vehicle crash in Medina County.
“Drew” Perkins, was killed in a vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor near Medina Thursday afternoon.
According to reports, Perkins was operating a Ford Fusion on Wedgewood Rd near Ryan Rd in Medina, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 12:30 p.m. Thursday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Kenworth tractor-trailer.
Perkins was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The truck driver was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
