OCEAN COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Margaret Palilonis, of Woolwich Township, New Jersey, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday morning fatal vehicle crash in Ocean County.
Palilonis, 22, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Manchester Township early Saturday morning.
According to reports, Palilonis was operating a Jeep Wrangler on Route 70 near mile marker 35.5 in Manchester Township, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 2:10 a.m. Saturday. The vehicle then entered a wooded area and rolled over multiple times.
Palilonis, who was ejected from the Jeep during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
