DAVIDSON COUNTY, TN. (THECOUNT) — Brittany Lynn Lewis, of Nashville, Tennessee, has been identified as the pedestrian fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday night in Davidson County.
Lewis, 33, was killed by a vehicle in Nashville Wednesday night.
According to reports, Lewis was on-foot in the area of Interstate 24 near Haywood Lane in Nashville, when she was struck by a passing SUV around 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Lewis was pronounced at the scene of blunt force trauma.
It is unknown why Lewis was standing on the interstate.
The driver is not facing charges, according to officials.
