MIDLAND COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Juan Martin Antonio Cortez, of Midland, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Monday morning vehicle crash in Midland County.
Cortez, 42, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Midland early Monday morning.

According to reports, Cortez was operating a Chevrolet Suburban in the 2800 block of Interstate 20 service road, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway. The vehicle then rolled over multiple times around 2 a.m. Monday.
Cortez, who was ejected from the vehicle, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
