CANYON COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Reed Thulander, of Cambridge, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a Friday morning vehicle crash in Canyon County.
Thulander, 19, was killed in a two-vehicle wrong-way crash near Caldwell early Friday morning.
According to reports, Kaleb Torres, 24, of Caldwell, was operating a Toyota Sequoia the wrong-way on Interstate 84 in Caldwell, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Ford Focus operated by 19-year-old Nicholas White.
Thulander, a passenger in the Focus, was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries at the scene.
Two passengers in the Focus, Kenzie White, 21, of New Plymouth, and Wyatt Currey, 20, of Brogan, Oregon, were transferred to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
This cause of the crash is under investigation.
