PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Jason Montecalvo, of Colts Neck, New Jersey and David Pohl, of Haledon, New Jersey, have been identified as the victims in a Monday double-fatal vehicle crash in Passaic County.
Montecalvo, 45, and 58-year-old Pohl, were both killed in a two-vehicle crash near Wayne Monday night.
According to reports, Montecalvo was operating a Cadillac CTS on Hamburg Turnpike near Armstrong Avenue in Wayne, when the vehicle came into head-on contact with a Lexus GS300, operated by Pohl around 6 p.m. Monday.
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
Montecalvo’s wife, Nicole, owns and operates the popular Your Sister’s Balls food truck stationed at the Jersey Shore.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
