PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ. (THECOUNT) — Maxim Viscio, of Jersey City and Sandra Vanderslice, of Philadelphia, have been identified as the two fatalities in a Wednesday night multi-vehicle crash in Passaic County, New Jersey.
Viscio, 29, and Vanderslice, 57, were both killed in a vehicle crash that injured multiple people near Clifton Wednesday night.
According to reports, Vanderslice was operating an SUV on a Clifton highway, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and made contact with a concrete barrier. The vehicle then came into contact with four other vehicles around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Vanderslice was pronounced dead at the scene, as was Viscio, a passenger in another involved vehicle.
One person sustained serious injuries, while three others sustained “moderate” injuries. Two others involved in the crash were uninjured, according to authorities.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
