ALLEN COUNTY, IN. (THECOUNT) — An Indiana woman was killed after a vehicle crashed into her home Monday night in Allen County.
A woman was inside her Fort Wayne home, when a vehicle crashed and trapped her under the wreckage Monday night.
According to reports, police responded to a call of a vehicle crash in the 5100 block of Mc Cellan Street in Fort Wayne. When they arrived, officials found a vehicle that had crashed into a house. A male and female occupying the vehicle had already fled the scene. Police then discovered a woman in the home trapped underneath the crashed vehicle around 10 p.m. Monday.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives did not provide a description of the couple that fled the scene.
Anyone with possible information on the deady incident should contact police at 911.
