NEW HAVEN COUNTY, CT. (THECOUNT) — Darlene Brown, of Hamden, Connecticut, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal double-shooting New Haven County.

‘Pebbles’ Brown, 43, was fatally shot and a man injured in a double shooting in Hamden Wednesday.

According to reports, Brown was found shot to death while seated in a vehicle on Pine Rock Avenue in Hamden Wednesday around 8 a.m. Brown’s new husband, Derrick Miller, 57, was found near the vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Miller was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.

Brown was pronounced dead at the scene of gunshot injuries.

The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation, however, officials said it appeared to be a case of domestic violence.
