BEAUFORT COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — A woman was found dead inside a Beaufort County home on Saturday.
The woman, who was not immediately identified, was found deceased inside of the Washington residence Saturday.
According to reports, police responded to a welfare check at 1117 State Highway 171, in Washington. When they arrived, the deceased woman was located.
A cause of death was not provided.
The investigation into the deadly incident is ongoing.
Foul play is suspected, according to officials.
