RUNNELS COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Brandon Johnson, of Sweetwater, Texas, has been identified as the victim in a Thursday two-vehicle crash in Runnels County.
Johnson, 29, was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Ballinger Thursday night.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Suburban, operated by Nathan Perry, 36, of Silverton, was traveling on US Hwy 83 near Ballinger, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes. The vehicle then came into contact with a Toyota Rav4, operated by Josephine Nash, 20, of New Braunfels.
Johnson, a passenger in the Suburban, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Perry and Nash were transported to area hospitals with unknown injuries.
