SCOTT COUNTY, MO. (THECOUNT) — Jessica Doria, of Scott City, Missouri, has been identified as the victim in a Wednesday fatal vehicle crash in Scott County.

Doria, aka, Jessica Dowdy, 29, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Scott City Wednesday morning.

According to reports, Doria was operating an SUV on County Road 313 near Scott City, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle then made contact with an embankment and rolled over.

Doria was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

A child passenger was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
