CARSON COUNTY, TX. (THECOUNT) — Erica James, of Moorpark, California, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Thursday morning vehicle crash in Carson County, Texas.
James, 45, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a disabled semi-tractor near Amarillo early Thursday morning.
According to reports, James was operating a Nissan Altima on I-40 east of Amarillo, when the vehicle came into contact with the rear of a disabled big-rig around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
James was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The truck driver, Artur Radovskiy, 35, of Carmichael, California, was uninjured in the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
