
WI Couple Greg & Cynthia Hettmansberger ID’d As Victims In Tuesday Night Kansas Fatal Deer Collision

PRATT COUNTY, KS. (THECOUNT) — Gregory and Cynthia Hettmansberger, of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, have been identified as the victims in a Tuesday night vehicle crash in Pratt County, Kansas.
Gregory, 65 and 70-year-old Cynthia were involved in a vehicle-versus-deer two-vehicle collision near Pratt Tuesday night.

According to reports, Gregory was operating a Toyota RAV4 on US-54 outside of Pratt, when the vehicle became disabled after coming into contact with a deer. The vehicle was then struck by a camper van around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Cynthia was transported to an area hospital with serious unknown injuries.
Gregory was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A 26-year-old man operating the van was not hurt in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
