RICHMOND COUNTY, GA. (THECOUNT) — Sheila Diane Downs, of Augusta, Georgia, has been identified as the suspect in a fatal Monday stabbing of an Augusta man in Richmond County.
John Hoard, 51, was fatally stabbed at his Augusta residence on Monday.
Downs, 49, was arrested in connection to the fatal stabbing of Hoard at 1942 Greene St in Augusta on Monday.
According to reports, Downs was arrested and charged with possession of kitchen knife during commission of crime and murder.
The cause of the deadly incident remains under investigation.
