LICKING COUNTY, OH. (THECOUNT) — Louis Lamar Harris, 33, of Columbus, Ohio and Michael Russell McElroy, of Newark, Ohio, have been identified as the victims in a Monday double-fatal vehicle crash in Licking County.
Harris, 33, and 23-year-old McElroy, were both killed in an early Monday single-vehicle crash near Newark.
According to reports, Harris was operating a vehicle in the area of 214 Oakwood Ave in Newark, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle wrecked Monday morning around 2 a.m.
Harris and McElroy were both pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
A third man, 35-year-old Bradley Elswick, of Newark, was discovered outside the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
