SCHENECTADY COUNTY, NY. (THECOUNT) — Naylon Carrington, of Schenectady, New York, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday night vehicle crash in Schenectady County.

“Nay” Carrington, 18, was killed in a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-tractor near Niskayuna Friday night.

According to reports, Carrington was riding as a passenger in a Nissan on Union Street near Route 7, when the vehicle came into contact with a big-rig around 10 p.m. Friday night.

The driver and a juvenile passenger were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured in the collision.

Carrington was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
