PICKENS COUNTY, SC. (THECOUNT) — Christopher James O’Neal, of Greenville, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday vehicle collision in Pickens County.
O’Neal, 29, was killed in a two-vehicle collision near Liberty Wednesday evening.
According to reports, O’Neal was operating a Toyota SUV on Calhoun Memorial Hwy/ US-123, near US-178, when the vehicle came into contact with a disabled GMC truck around 4 p.m. Wednesday.
O’Neal was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
