MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA. (THECOUNT) — Shanna Hurdle, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has been identified as the pedestrian in a fatal Sunday night hit-and-run vehicle collision.

Hurdle, 30, ws killed after she was struck by a vehicle in the Wyncote section of Cheltenham Township Sunday night.

According to reports, Hurdle was on-foot in the area of Cheltenham Avenue near Ogontz Avenue in Wyncote, Cheltenham, when she was struck by an SUV that then fled the scene around 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

Hurdle was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.

The SUV driver was last seen turning onto Upsal Street in Philadelphia.

Police say the vehicle has noticeable front end and hood damage. It is said to be a white SUV, possibly a GMC.
