MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Travis Terrell Windley, of Charlotte, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a Saturday night fatal motorcycle collision in Mecklenburg County.
Windley, 29, was killed in a motorcycle crash involving a passenger vehicle Saturday night near Charlotte.
According to reports, Windley was operating a Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle near 1300 Mt Holly-Huntersville Rd in Charlotte, when the bike came into contact with a Toyota Corolla, operated by 31-year-old Camilla Marie Clarke, around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
Clarke was not injured in the collision.
Windley was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
No one was cited at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
