FREMONT COUNTY, ID. (THECOUNT) — Sara Madsen of Tetonia, Idaho, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Wednesday morning vehicle crash in Fremont County.
Madsen, 24, was killed in a single-vehicle crash near Ashton early Wednesday morning.
According to reports, Ashton was operating a pickup truck on ID-32 near Ashton, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday. The vehicle entered a culvert and rolled over.
Madsen, who was ejected during the crash, was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
