CLALLAM COUNTY, WA. (THECOUNT) — Scott D. Edwards, of Port Angeles, Washington, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle-versus-deer collision late Monday afternoon in Clallam County.
Edwards, 60, was killed in a crash involving a deer near Port Angeles Monday afternoon.
According to reports, Edwards was operating a Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 5000 block of South Old Mill Road in Port Angeles, when the bike came into contact with a deer around 4 p.m. Monday.
Edwards was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
The deer was also killed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
