MECKLENBURG COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Robert Sledzewski, of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, has been identified as the victim killed Thursday night in a workplace accident in Mecklenburg County.
Sledzewski, 56, was killed while in the Snyder’s-Lance loading dock area in south Charlotte Thursday night.
According to reports, Sledzewski was on-foot at the end of his shift when he was struck by a fellow employee who was operating a vehicle around 11 p.m. Thursday.
Sledzewski was pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.
No one was cited at the scene and no charges are pending.
The cause of the fatal incident remain under investigation.
