ROWAN COUNTY, NC. (THECOUNT) — Ebony Kindle, of Lexington, North Carolina, has been identified as the victim in a fatal disabled vehicle collision in Rowan County Thursday night.
Kindle, 31, was killed after a disabled vehicle she occupied with a child, was struck by a big-rig Thursday night near Davidson.
According to reports, Kindle was operating a vehicle on I-85 near Davidson, when the vehicle became disabled by a flat tire around 8:30 p.m. Thursday. While stopped on the shoulder, the vehicle was struck by a passing tractor-trailer.
Kindle was pronounced dead on the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
The child was uninjured in the collision.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
