KENOSHA COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — Kyle Rittenhouse, of Antioch, Illinois, has been identified as the suspect arrested and charged Wednesday in the Tuesday night double-fatal shooting of three people during a series of protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Rittenhouse, 17, was officially charged with first-degree murder on Wednesday.

Police had been hunting for the teenager after a man holding a long gun was captured on video shooting several people, two fatally, during the riot and then fleeing the scene.
