HAMPSHIRE COUNTY, WV. (THECOUNT) — Terry Lee Weasenforth, of Leesburg, Virginia, has been identified as the victim in a Friday evening two-vehicle crash in Hampshire County, West Virginia.
Weasenforth, 53, was killed in a head-on crash near Augusta Friday evening.
According to reports, Weasenforth was operating a Chrysler Sebring on Bloomery Pike in Slanesville, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and into opposing lanes around 5:3- p.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a Jeep Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 54-year-old Karen Borror of Paw Paw. Weasenforth’s vehicle then burst into flames trapping both drivers.
Borror was transported to to an area hospital in unknown condition.
Weasenforth was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt and thermal injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
