DANE COUNTY, WI. (THECOUNT) — Brian Dennis Ahlert, of Janesville, Wisconsin, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash in Dane County Saturday night.
Ahlert, 50, aka, Brian Alhert, was killed in a Saturday night motorcycle crash that also critically injured his passenger near Janesville.
According to reports, Ahlert was operating a motorcycle near Highway 11 in Janesville, when for unknown reasons, the bike crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 8 p.m. Saturday night. The bike then made contact with a raised curb median.
Ahlert and his passenger were both ejected from the motorcycle during the wreck. They were transported to an area hospital where Ahlert was later pronounced dead od blunt force trauma injuries. His passenger was listed in critical condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
