MA Man Jeff Grassette ID’d As Victim In Friday Mansfield Fatal Crash Involving FedEx Truck

BRISTOL COUNTY, MA. (THECOUNT) — Jeffrey Grassette, of Ludlow, Massachusetts, has been identified as the victim in a fatal Friday morning vehicle crash involving a FedEx truck in Bristol County.

Grassette, 22, was killed when his vehicle collided with a FedEx truck Friday morning near Mansfield.

According to reports, Grassette was operating a Mazda 6i on Route 32 in Mansfield, when for unknown reasons, the vehicle crossed centerlines and exited the roadway around 9:30 a.m. Friday. The vehicle then came into head-on contact with a FedEx truck, operated by 50-year-old Peter Laumark.

Grassette was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries.

Laumark was not injured during the incident.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
